Blue Marble Inc. has 2 Openings for Desktop Support and PC Technicians in the Fort Wayne area. We want to talk to you if you have at least 1 year of experience in this role. We are looking for a candidate that has 1-3 years of experience in a desktop support role, a clear understanding of Microsoft Windows, and strong practical knowledge of Intel based hardware platforms. The primary focus of this position will be to support end users in a dynamic and fast-paced client-driven environment.-----------------------------
Responsibilities:

• Provides site computer support and associated services support across multiple buildings.
• Troubleshoots site hardware, software and network connectivity problems.
• Performs moves, adds, and changes for end user environment.
• Maintain security patches on desktop and laptop systems
• Maintain anti-virus software on desktop and laptop systems
• Assist with maintenance of Group Policies
• Provide printer support
• Assist in supporting remote users and VPN access
• Provide support for Audio-visual equipment in conference rooms and training rooms
• Maintain standard desktop images across multiple hardware configurations and departments
• Provide technical and process documentation as needed
• Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with all Corporate security directives.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED, some college (Associates Degree or equivalent)
• Desire and ability to be a team player focused on advancing the goals and strategies of the overall team
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Experience with software imaging tools
• Experience supporting anti-virus applications
• Experience with laptops and notebook computers
• Experience with batch files and other automation tools
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows (XP, 2000, 2003)
• Experience in administering Microsoft Active Directory
• Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, network)
• Demonstrated proficiency at assembling computers from standard components
